It is with deep sadness and mixed feelings I express my profound gratitude to God for the life of Pastor Norril Gumbs. Words are not enough to describe the qualities of this great Man of God. I knew Pastor Gumbs for over 54 years. He was a mentor to me and contributed significantly in meeting the needs of my family, both physically and spiritually. He was a real man of God, a good under-shepherd, who cared deeply for his flock. He was a family man and went to the extra mile to meet the needs of his family and others. A true seed of Abraham by faith in Christ.
Though he is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten. He is now waiting for the day when he will hear the Lord Jesus say to him “well done thou good and faithful servant.”
