I extend my sincere condolences to Sister Gumbs and the family.

It is with mixed emotions I write this tribute. Saddened by the death of My First Pastor and Happy that he has gone on to be with his Saviour.

Pastor Gumbs was a great man of God who answered the call and went to Montserrat to start a Ministry. It was under his Ministry that I gave my life to Christ and was baptised by him almost 44 years ago.

Your preaching was inspiring and undiluted. Many came to know Christ under your Ministry.

Pastor Gumbs was also a loving and caring person who dedicated his life to the service of God and man. Always there to listen and give sound advice and practical help.

You will be forever missed my dear Pastor. You have fought a good fight.

Sleep on my beloved, sleep and take your rest, we love you but Jesus loves you best. Good night, good night, good night.
