The 1960’s was the golden age of the North American missionary. They preached the gospel, they started churches, Christian schools and the helped the spirit filled young men that God called get into bible school. Little did they know that they were training a band of pioneers. Who, would take over the West Indies gospel church and expand the work of the gospel.
Norril Gumbs was one such young man, who dedicated his entire life to the preaching of the gospel in the West Indies. As a missionary, pastor, teacher, counsellor, Christian educator, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. As a senior ambassador of the kingdom, he ran his race, he kept the faith and now he has gone to Glory, to receive his crown of righteousness that God the father has reserved for him as a reward for his faithfulness.
Above all Ambassador Norril Gumbs in the hands of Jesus, the one who died for his sins, forgave him and cleansed him from all unrighteousness. To God be the glory for your gracious graduation. We will see you in Glory around the Throne of Grace.
